The Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) is pleased to announce the Kick-off Meeting of the Regional Task Force on Education for Inclusive Energy Transition (RTEET) in Central Asia, taking place on 22–23 May 2025. The initiative, launched by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, supports a just and inclusive energy transition by developing curricula, addressing gender and skills gaps, and fostering cooperation among Central Asian countries.

This hybrid event will bring together government representatives, universities, energy companies, and technical experts to launch a new regional platform focused on aligning education with the needs of the renewable energy sector.

Why attend?

  • Learn about key findings from the OSCE’s needs assessment on renewable energy education and workforce gaps.
  • Contribute to shaping a regional action plan for academic and technical training in renewable energy.
  • Explore ways to strengthen women’s participation in the energy transition.
  • Connect with universities, ministries, and organizations working to modernize energy education.

Open to all interested stakeholders online.
