Global Climate Change Week 2024

Global Climate Change Week (GCCW) aims to encourage academic communities – including academics, students, and professional staff at universities and their local municipalities – to contribute more to ensuring that these needs are met.

This year, Global Climate Change Week will be held on October 14-18 on the theme "Water-Energy-Food" Nexus.

After five wonderful years, the University of Tasmania is delighted to announce that Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan in the United States, will be taking over as host of GCCW from 2025 to 2029.

GVSU have been staunch supporters of GCCW since it commenced in 2015, running their own Climate Change Education Solutions Summit (CCESS) in conjunction with GCCW for the past six years.
