GOAL

To create an efficient and transparent system of water use and distribution on the Karakum River and to raise awareness among water sector specialists and the local population about new technologies and approaches for rational water use.

OBJECTIVES

  • To install a water monitoring system taking into consideration the norms of crop irrigation.
  • To build capacity in the government and private sector for improved monitoring of water use and water conservation.
